I had the pleasure of judging this year’s Local First Springfield Annual Awards alongside Paula Ryan of Ryan Homes and Paula Ryan Design and longtime Local First member Lashonda Fitch.
Having received the Emerging and Energized Award at the inaugural event in 2018 I was excited to play my part in the judging process this year. What an amazing membership Local First Springfield has! The level of entries was quite astounding. There are companies out there making a positive impact on our economy, on the community, and encouraging people to support local! With so much competition it was certainly not an easy task to choose the 2019 winners.
I can’t wait to celebrate with this year’s nominees and winners on Thursday, September 12 at Springfield Electric Lighting & Design.
