We are very excited to announce that Zack Patton has been promoted to Sangamon Reclaimed’s Director of Sales. Zack, 30, joined our team in May last year as a woodworker. “Zack is an invaluable member of the Sangamon Reclaimed family. He has worked extremely hard to develop his word working skills, is dedicated to moving the company forward, and always goes above and beyond for our customers,” said Sangamon Reclaimed Founder and President, Brian Frieze.

Zack worked in the banking industry for nine years before joining Sangamon Reclaimed and has a bachelor’s in political science and international studies from Illinois College. “My favorite aspect of the job is that every piece of furniture that we build, big or small, is a custom project and therefore no project is the same and each piece has a different set of challenges to overcome," said Zack.

He is extremely passionate about continuing Sangamon Reclaimed’s success. “I hope to continue to move the company in a positive direction, I hope to exceed our sales goals and increase the quality and efficiency of the products we put out. As well as, continuing to grow as a furniture maker, I want to expand the types of products we offer our customers to in line with the ever-changing trends of custom wood furniture.”

On the weekends Zack volunteers for the Animal Protective League (APL) transporting animals to PetSmart or Pets Plus for adoption drives. He lives with his wife, Caitlin, in Springfield.
