This year one of our goals at Sangamon Reclaimed is to continue developing our relationships in the community and supporting the efforts of fellow local businesses and entrepreneurs. With that in mind, one of the first things we have done is join the folks at Innovate Springfield.
For anyone unfamiliar with the organization, Innovate Springfield is a catalyst for creating a collaborative space and community where businesses incubate, and entrepreneurs innovate. Innovate Springfield is the city’s first and only-university-led social innovations and business incubator. In 2018 it became part of the University of Illinois Springfield.
Located in downtown Springfield, we are excited to attend the many programs, advisory sessions, and events hosted by Innovate Springfield. Third Thursday Happy Hour is also a draw, of course. We believe our membership at Innovate Springfield will be of mutual benefit as we gain insight into the workings of other businesses and hopefully share, through its co-working space, our knowledge and experience with fellow members. We can’t wait to share with you our progress during 2020.
