Leatherneck hardware remains favorite for Sangamon Reclaimed barn style

For the past year, Leatherneck Hardware, Inc. in Danville, Illinois has supplied barn door style hardware for our residential and commercial reclaimed barn doors.

Like Sangamon Reclaimed, Leatherneck is a family-owned and operated business. Marine, Jack Seidler, launched the company in 1977. His daughter, Connie, and son-in-law, Dale now own and run Leatherneck. As well as barn door style hardware, the company also manufactures aircraft hangar door hardware, which is used in most military bases and commercial airports across the country.

Kim McCabe, sales and marketing administrator, for Leatherneck, said, “It is great to have Sangamon Reclaimed right on our doorstep. As I spent many years visiting the Lincoln and Springfield area growing up, Sangamon Reclaimed stood out to me.”

According to Kim, Leatherneck’s products are superior to many of the barn door style hardware competitors. “Leatherneck has been manufacturing this hardware for approximately 20 years. We began before it became so popular. We always say you need to touch it, feel it, or see it when comparing to others - then you truly understand the difference.” Leatherneck hardware is 100% made in the USA.

“Paired with our Flat Track hardware, the beautiful reclaimed barn wood doors that Brian and his team build are a work of art,” said Kim.
